A futuristic dual-type weapon used for defensive purposes.

This weapon design was influenced by the brief for our latest game project which takes place in an abandoned futuristic robotics factory. The gun was intended for the facility's security as well as the protagonist who learns to use this system throughout the game. The game's protagonist needed to be able to use traditional ammunition as well as a secondary function to stun and disarm enemies or to interact with switches and puzzles. For this purpose the gun uses a large battery to power a short range stun gun, as well as magnetized rails which propel caseless bullets from a magazine on the back of the weapon. This unit comes stockless due to complete recoil negation.
I designed this gun in Fusion combined with paint overs and 2D iterations during 5 weeks of half-time production.
